Dick Johnson found that the LS3a he tested, had a
higher sink rate over the whole polar, relative to the LS3. He found the 'a' version to have a 6mm thicker airfoil. Was this just a specific aircraft difference, or are all LS3a's systematically inferior to the LS3's? |
