FS: Wedge Softie Parachute -- USA
I've ordered a new parachute with a higher weight capacity so I need to
sell my current chute: 1998 Paraphernalia Wedge Softie, Free Flight Enterprises Canopy rated for 220 pounds. Excellent condition. "Never used!" With carrying case. Price is $950 with fresh repack. Shipping $20. Total = $970 Chute won't be available until I receive the new one (2 weeks?). See photo at: For more info on Softie chutes go to www.softieparachutes.com Steve Pawling Tehachapi, CA 760.793.2544 |

You must be eating at the resturant at the glider port! I used to fly
at Tehachapi and found it to be a wonderful experience. Lots of nice people and a beautiful palce to fly. Cool temps, early starts. Last couple of times I was there I was disappointed that not many private pilots were frequenting Tehachapi, a sign of the shrinking soaring population. : )) wrote: I've ordered a new parachute with a higher weight capacity so I need to sell my current chute: 1998 Paraphernalia Wedge Softie, Free Flight Enterprises Canopy rated for 220 pounds. Hi Roger,
You're close, my wife used to work at the Raven's Nest and I still get plenty of food. My main problem is I don't excercise enough. Private ship activity at Mountain Valley Airport seems to be increasing. Also, hangers are in non-stop construction mode and all of the currently available hanger plots are reserved. You should stop by and give it another try. More info on the parachute: The Softie website shows 180 and 240 pound weights for the Wedge but mine has a 220 lb limit. My canopy is a 24'Preserve 1C rated at 220 lbs and 150 KIAS max speed. The container has the conventional H harness with B12 snaps at the legs and a thread-through at the chest. All the best, Steve Roger wrote: You must be eating at the resturant at the glider port! I used to fly at Tehachapi and found it to be a wonderful experience.
