Hmm... you picked Waupaca because there's a strip joint right across the
road from the airport, right? ![]() I have a few contacts at PCZ, would you like me to check on a hanger for you? email me if yes. Simpsons is a great supper club located on Main St. downtown Waupaca, great steaks. If you're on the chain-o-lakes, the Clearwater Harbor Bar has great burgers, the Wheelhouse for great home made pizza. Jim Burns "RST Engineering" wrote in message ... Thanks for all the info, gang. Right now it looks like a B&B in Waupaca and a rather inexpensive rental car for the hour drive. Don't give me that "wussy" crap, Honeck, remember I've got well over 20 years on you {;-) Is the Apollo suite available Saturday night? Jim |

All I know Jay is that this year, I'm following you guys once we're
outside of Ripon. Seems like whenever I lead the way, we get separated in the gaggle around the lake then wind up camping far apart. I have yet to camp next to MontBlack's PMC and I aim to fix that! :-) Hey MontBlack, speaking of PMC...since 2.0 never made it out of the designer's head last year, what are the plans for unveiling the new version this year? -- Jack Allison PP-ASEL-Instrument Airplane "To become a Jedi knight, you must master a single force. May 19th and 20th is Blaine Aviation Weekend (B.A.W.) PMC 2.007 will get considered after that. http://www.eaachapter237.org/ 25th Annual ...EAA Chapter 237 Pancake Breakfast (...and Lunch) 7th Annual ...."Evening Hangar Dance" at Golden Wings Museum http://www.airnav.com/airport/ANE (ANE) Anoka County-Blaine Airport, MN http://skyvector.com/#20-117-3-1525-583 16NM (north) @ 12 o'clock on the MSP Sectional http://66.226.83.248/ap/02455 I'll be parking cars in the grassy area, on the "south end," by the cloverleaf freeway exit. It's a much bigger area than it looks like in the photo. The Fly-In planes will be parked on the "south end" ramp, where I'll also be wandering around, checking on the (soda)pop crew. Ah well...PMC 1.0 has held up for two years running. I'm sure it will last another OSH season. -- Jack Allison PP-ASEL-Instrument Airplane "To become a Jedi knight, you must master a single force. I take exception with your SL(M)LE statement! The excuse(s) last year were a bit on the weak side, sure. But lame? Definitely not lame. Ok, a little gimpy ...maybe. Mont Black has absolved herself of anything even remotely connected to the ill-fated PMC 2.0 project. |

Yeah, I can understand the concerns of your co-conspirator Jim. Perhaps
flying at different altitudes until we're in visual contact. Also, since we'd both be talking to ATC, maybe give them a heads-up that we're looking for each other. Or...the Allison boys leave even earlier and hop up the hill to KGOO (I still can't get over that identifier :-) ) and launch with you guys. We'll figure something out. You could always do what my buddy in the Army national guard does to their helicopters...paint portions of the airframe with bright fluorescent colors :-) -- Jack Allison PP-ASEL-Instrument Airplane "To become a Jedi knight, you must master a single force.
