Default Wierd TFR in Mid California

I don't see it now. Do you have the NOTAM number? We do often have
TFRs over Beale for unmanned aircraft but that doesn't sound like what
you are talking about. We also have a permanent Mickey Mouse TFR in
SoCal.

They way I read it, it isn't actually restricted airspace, its just
asking pilots not to hang around the whale. In fact they specifically
say opeartions at affected airports are not affected. Besides, its
only below 1000, clearly its for news helicopters. However, usually
the news helos stay above 1000 feet because the law enforcement helos
are below 1000 and the news guys have great zoom lenses anyway.
