: What makes the UFO thing unbelievable for those of us who actually enjoy deductive reasoning that is :-) is simply the aspect of the issue that postulates the theory that if there is indeed alien life out there and it has the brain power to reach earth with these super duper ultra hyperduper ships of theirs, one at least has to consider why these alien superfolk always manage, with the cream of the earth's scientific minds to choose from, to scoop up Homer and Jethro while they are walking on a back country road at 4 in the morning so they can relate their "experiences" on the all night AM radio show :-)) True. Even worse if they picked up Anthony. The thing tha pretty much proves it for me is I remember reading years ago an explanation of why, if there were so many sightings, there weren't more photos of UFOs. The argument was "there are lots of airplane accidents, and you don't see many pictures of those, yet we know thye happen" Well, with the explosion in digital cameras and what not there are, in fact, lots and lots of pics of airplane accidents, yet no credible pics of UFOs. Was just watching something about them this morning in fact, and the dufus witness accounts would put anyone off as well. Bertie |

Even worse if they picked up Anthony. One thing's for sure, if they DID manage to snap him up by accident, they might not understand being told all day long that what they were doing was impossible in an actual saucer but if they gave him a few minutes he could make it work with a simulator :-) The thing tha pretty much proves it for me is I remember reading years ago an explanation of why, if there were so many sightings, there weren't more photos of UFOs. I saw some photos once. I think they were kitchen plates....no...wait a second....now that I recall....I think they were garbage can lids. It's an alien trinket museum on a bun. The local Dairy Queen even has a soft ice cream sundae served on a "saucer". I mean it's a NUT HOUSE out there :-)) -- Dudley Henriques |

I've seen UFO's, they were flying and I wasn't sure what kind of aircraft they were. Hardly makes them extraterrestrial. Before Hollywood in the mid-40's started making horror movies involving aliens, there was no reports of UFO's, abductions etc. There were reports of witches and ghosts etc. This is just another rebirth of old human fears and fallibility's with ET in place of the supernatural. If more people would believe in science instead of the tooth fairy we would have a lot less stupid people on Earth. Hollywood just jumped on the bandwagon. The UFO sightings started about the same time we started testing advanced aircraft. The USAF and the CIA were more than happy to use UFOs as a cover for the testing. |

Like global warming, it sells newspapers and advertising time on TV. The UFO sightings started about the same time we started testing advanced aircraft.
