Now, going into quantum a bit here, Mike could be right!! If we put Art
AND
Autocollimator into a lead box (after all, they ARE one and the same
according to Mike ) and then we throw in a cyanide capsule, can we then
assume that Art and Autocollimator are then both dead, or do we have to
actually open the box to prove a superposition on this issue?
Or perhaps instead, we can just put Mike into the box, assume a
superposition, and then the whole lot of us can go out and have a drink
because none of us really give a **** whether Mike's dead or NOT!!! :-)))

nearly good enough to share a drink with. For that you need people who want
to share a bit of what you're all about; people who want to be around you a
bit longer than it takes to want to tell you off and get the hell away from

I'll let you in on a little secret. If there's ANYTHING at all that people
in professional aviation, especially military aviation, covet more than

I don't believe I refer to people in the business as a "buddy" John. Perhaps
if you look again you will find some other phrasing or description for any
reference by me to a Mr. "Patterson".
Are you perhaps referring to either Bruce Peterson, who was a test pilot at
Dryden back in the stone ages, or perhaps Kevin Peterson; both people are
associated with Dryden. I'm assuming you mean Kevin, and if so, I don't
believe I have EVER referred to KP as a "buddy" . I'm not absolutely certain
mind you, but I'm not all that sure KP has all that many "buddies" :-)))
