Why do you say that? Its an amusing mix of ignorance and plain kookiness I especially liked the claim that the Vatican bank had been secretly controlling the world since the time of Julius Caesar who of course died in 44 BC. Forward looking bunch, those Romans. Not as much so as the Egyptians and the other highly advanced civilizations that built the geometrically perfect, astronomically accurate pyramids across the world as warning signs for the generation of today.- William Shatner of Star Trek told me that the Martians built them. Maybe they did. It wasn't a bunch of Chinese, Aztecs, Egyptians or, for that matter, anyone today that could build, much less build in the constraints of time that occurred, the pyramids of subject. Except for the minor problem that we know that the blocks of stone used to build the pyramids were worked with stone and copper tools. Moreover we know from the excavations of the villages that they lived in that the pyramid builders were were organized into work groups 1,000 strong with names such as the 'Friends of Menkaure' and the 'Drunkards of Menkaure' We have the records that show the daily ration for a labourer was ten loaves and a measure of beer. Recall that many of these were married men with families so these settlements were actually quite large towns with a population of better than 20,000 with their own temples, breweries , bakeries etc. Why did these 'alien' builders live on bread and beer in wooden huts and build the pyramids with stone tools ? In fact attempts have been made to prove that the pyramid could be constructed using the known ancient Egyptian tools and methods. Egyptologist Mark Lehner has made an attempt with a large group of people but failed to even create a 6 m scale model of the pyramid. A Japanese team funded by Nissan made another attempt to create an 18 m high scale model using the same primitive ancient Egyptian tools such as chisels and hammers. The once so proud Japanese team returned home disillusioned and embarrassed, since they had to use jackhammers to cut the hard stone, only small blocks were carved from the quarry. We call people who are stuck in the Age Of Pyramid Stupidity "pyramidiots". If the (pyramid) point fits, wear it. -- Thor Kuntelin http://www.anta.com/ |
