On my last flight, just a few days ago, winds at landing were about 40
degrees left at 19G29 making the crosswind runway useless. Fortunately our runway is about 75 ft wide and we have a very large turnout so, if you carry sufficient energy and you know how your brakes work, it's more exciting than scarey. It helped a bit, too, that my left water dump valve was stuck (ice, maybe) and that made keeping the left wing level against the wind pretty simple until I came to a stop.
