"Green"... Hahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
I say that because just the other day one of the airport bums told me that his daughter drives a "green" Tesla. He also told me that, where she lives, all of the electricity (read that recharging her car) is generated by burning coal. I just shake my head. Of course, other than a gallon or two of gas (less on a ground launch) the sailplane is pretty "green". Except that it's generally white. ;-) On 9/29/2015 10:21 PM, Frank Whiteley wrote: On Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 9:02:45 PM UTC-6, pstrzel wrote: On Monday, September 21, 2015 at 5:58:14 PM UTC-6, Greg Delp wrote: I finished another soaring shirt design. I know it sounds funny and I cringe every time I hear it. |

This was all before we knew there was something called the "environment". UH |

Those are good. I've also thought about making one with a 25m open class ship flying over a 13m with the relative wingspans fully apparent and the tag line something like: Size Matters.

"Green Air" was a term we used in the very early days of Hang Gliding, when we were experimenting with the old Makiki pellet variometers. In lift, the green pellet would float in its tube (hence "green air") and when sinking, the red pellet would rise. I am sure a lot of oldtimers in the sailplane world also remember this.

Good morning or good evening depending upon your location. I want to ask you the most important question of your life. Your joy or sorrow for all eternity depends upon your answer.
