Default 2-33s now made of gold?

I just picked up a realy nice KA-7 with trailer(thanks Frank) from New York
for $8000. I notice that the 2-33's listed are $16,000+ without trailer.

It's kinda a shame that the Schwitzer brother's stopped producing
glider's, as building a better twin would of been a logical step.
Something like a 2-35 or a 2-36 Twin Sprite.

The 2-33 is a good ship. Check out how excited my student was after
his first time over 6K:

Well, what other two seaters are there in the 20k price range? Are
there any?

My sofa was way cheaper and has about the same glide ratio.

Well, he said made of gold, right? That's 7.1 times as heavy as
aluminum...;-)

Wow, now that the Blaniks are all grounded, the price of 2-33s has
sure shot up! There are two now listed at 16K? Who would have
guessed?

Made of gold? Doubtful...they would be way too heavy to fly at all

plus the fatigue life of aluminum has got to be way better than gold.

Having gliders to fly when you otherwise would be grounded- Priceless!

2, People know that Swiss made watches are best, while the Asia madeare worst but cheapest, but Some of Asia made Oyster Perpetual Air King - AllStainless Steel are also close to a real thing that is in fact almostimpossible to tell the difference.
