If you were way up there, you probably would have had nice clear blue
sky and glad you were not down there. It's nice to see at least that the
TAF actually agreed with the Metar for the most part.

while you guys are enjoying the snow.. we were in 65F weather.. waiting for
the forecast winds to pick up for some ridge soaring...

and they did.. about 3pm... but we had been watching high altitude wave all
day..

just took to the afternoon to get the winds down to our local ridge..

I'm over at 4N1 all the time. We use Kevin
for a quite a bit of the maintenance on our airplanes.

Storm

A "Textbook example" of a Nor'easter according to Mish Michaels of
Bostons Channel 4 (TWC'S Jim Cantore's other half). Fortunately
airports close under most severe weather circumstances for our
safety. On 10-31-91 at 9.00 PM we taxied back to the gate DCA
due to nasty winds (my call). American ran off of the runway behind
us. DCA was still open.
