Umm, I can't wait to try a flying rodent. How do they taste, like

chicken?

Flying rodent about the size of a rat........my guess is not chicken.

Ahem...

Bats aren't rodents.

(Just taking up for my fellow flyers).

I have some bad news concerning the party at Jay's plane, at Airventure.

The MOAG (mother of all grills) will not be able to make the trip. The
powers that may be, in the Explorers leadership have strongly discouraged
pulling a trailer while transporting explorers personnel.

Don't feel too badly, Jim. I had been having nightmares about the MOAG
parked next to Atlas, leaving a tell-tale column of black smoke rising into
the evening sky, easily marking the location of our campsite for the EAA
gendarmes...

It may be just as well that we don't push the envelope so far as to include
a pig roast on a camp site that is labeled "No Open Fires"...

:-)

And kudos to Montblack and Jim (Burns) for stepping up. It sounds like
we've got the grill situation well in hand!

The party must go on!

Jay...

It would be an "open fire" if the lid was closed. Would it?

Randy (Who would really like to get to OSH again someday (its been 16
or 17 years) - but its not in the cards this year.)

Correction....

I typo'd : it should have read "wouldn't be an "open fire"....

My apologies.

I know that, but you can't help but notice the similarities...

Right. If they allow small grills, there is no more risk in a big grill,
once you think about it. The big thing is, that gas fumes are heavy, and
follow the ground, and up, (even when enclosed) to 18 inches. As long as
the burner is higher than that, no problems.
