Then spend two or three days (at least) schlepping gas to the generator and cleaning debris from the yard, if we're lucky. I'm really getting sick of this crap. Come to Western NC. We don't get hurricanes, here.... Oh wait. I almost forgot about that storm named Hugo!.. g We are getting the **** kicked out of us today, with torrential rains, flooding, nonstop lightening (during the cells) and tornadoes. I was less than 10 miles from a touchdown, today. -- Jim in NC |

The plane probably needs to be moved somewhere out of the line of fire also. We're doing the hurricane dance down here along the Redneck Riviera. Hate to send it to you Texas, but we really don't want it here.....sorta like "Not in my backyard". Yeah, goddamit, here we go AGAIN! I'm making plans to fly the airplane out on Saturday morning. I'm really getting sick of this crap. You can come to PA and not have to worry (much anyway) about hurricanes. However, we do have these little events called blizzards and ice storms... Matt |

Only real downside is that there are 2 seasons... Summer, and Hell. But after flying in FL, I can honestly say that flying out here is no more uncomfortable than mid 90s and super high humidity. |
