I'll let you ask him that in person :-) Just make sure you're handing him
a cold one (and you've even opened it for him) before saying "So Steve,
how's the RV coming along?"

The Fred Flintstone 'Pimp My Cooler" is mostly ready - so a "cold one" he
shall have!

I might still Rhino Guard/ Tuff Stuff the exterior wood if I find the time.
It's green treated 1/2" plywood as it sits. Our medium sized plastic Coleman
cooler sits (snugly) inside the contraption. 'PMC' is lined with 2 inches of
rigid pink all around the inside - bottom, sides and even the top
(removable) lid.

'Pimp My Cooler' box sits as high as a kitchen chair (18") and is strong
enough to stand on.

Currently looking to trip over an old boat seat/cushion for the lid. (28" x
20")

I'm not saying 'PMC' is heavy, it's just not overly light. This Fred
Flintstone box will *not* blow away.

Prototype #2 (2006) will have wheels. :-)

I know, I know. Throwing extra bags of ice at the trusty Coleman is easier
(and cheaper) ...but hey, we had fun slapping the (insulated) green box
together ...green box soon to be white box.

Frequency and N-number noted. Hmmm, how do I want to be called? Rats,
can't think of anything really cool right now. Probably for the best as
that's just another thing to remember. Ignore whatever MontBlack, JayH,
or any of the other r.a.* regulars suggest. :-) As we'll be listening
for our N-number when in contact w/ ATC, I'd go with "Arrow 2104T" or
"Cherokee 2104T". Will make sure to start monitoring 122.75

I'm thinking #3 will have an engine, and hopefully come with a seatbelt,
crash helmet, and cup holders.

Did you see the MythBusters episode where they tried to cool beer as fast as
possible?? #1 CO2 fire extinguisher #2 Ice, water, and lots of salt. I'll
bring the salt.

"Allison Arrow".... gives the unknowing the impression that you've either
got a big ole Allison V1710 12 cylinder, or maybe an Allison turbine engine!

Hmm, cup holders just might make a 2005 appearance.

At the brewery our back-wall warehouse fire extinguishers were always empty.
Up until 1988 we could drink beer at work ...ice cold, unpasteurized, fresh,
31-degree beer - straight from the fillers.

When that perk went away the warehouse gang got creative.

Hamm's Brewery up until October 1983, then Stroh's took over.

Ok.... now I'm bracing myself for a picture of you in that Hamm's Bear suit!
Favorite memories of mine are as a kid going to the tavern with my grandpa
and watching the moving Hamm's signs. I think I still have some of the
Hamm's cans that were shaped like barrells.

Or the annual spring contest at Purdue where the engineering types try to
get a hot dog to the edible stage as soon as possible.

The current record is under a tenth of a second; it involved charcoal, a
spark plug, and a quart of liquid oxygen. The only remains of a K-Mart
barbecue and a hot dog were a couple of tablespoons of gray dust.
