But you use your waiver and get a new medical when the expiration date

I show the paper work to the AME every time I renew, that's the only difference, i.e., I do renew like everybody else, and there is no restriction on my medical (other than having to wear corrective lenses); the point I was trying to make was that the public records on the FAA website doesn't tell the whole story. --Sylvain |
