Default Garmin 430 vs 196 questions

You can show extended runways quite easily with the 430 by using the OBS
button. Assuming your next waypoint on the 430 is your intended airport,
just turn HSI or CDI to runway heading while in OBS mode and you will have
extended runway shown on map to help set up your approach. If you are using
autopilot in NAV mode just be sure to change to heading mode before
selecting OBS to avoid unanticipated turn. Works quite well and very simple.

Does the 430 have extended runway depictions like the 196 and other
handhelds have?

Does the 430 have the VNAV profile for descents like the 196 and other
handhelds have?
