These rules are somethin aren't they!!

They were simpler when I started contest flying 30 years ago. The
complexity seemed to peak a few years ago, so they are are simpler now,
but they still aren't "simple"; however, once you realize 90% of the
rules apply to about 10% of the situations, it's not so bad.
