Lemme guess... only one available at that price??

That's exactly right. It is serial #2 and has been used as a demo plane.
They are going to install new engines and interior.

Sams Club is great! Where else can you buy a 55 gallon drum of Nutmeg
for $8.00.

DW

But you probably won't be able to carry that 55 gallon drum in the
Mustang with full fuel. I noticed this...

Full Fuel Payload:
With one pilot (200 lb) --- 600 lbs. (272kg)

So 800 lbs with full fuel. That's only a little less than double what my
Zenith 601 will be able to carry with the tanks topped. A lot faster
though.

I dare say that "full fuel" in the Mustang will take it a lot further than
your plane as well.

Well of course it will but it won't take four grown men and there luggage
and golf clubs which I would expect for $2.75 Million.

Sure it will. ZFW is about 2400 lbs.

[Too quick] How far can it take those four and luggage (say, 1000 lbs total)
on 1400 lbs of Jet-A?

I was a little quick as well I should have written "full fuel" before "four
grown men."

So, where were you wanting to go to play golf? Zimbabwe? g

I think you might be satisfied to go where it would take you with the men and
the clubs, and what fuel weight was "left over."

Considering that the average bizjet flight is less than 1.5 hours, the load
with full fuel is rather irrelevant.

So maybe they should have built in smaller fuel tanks? :~)

Think: mission profile

In 20 years flying and over 2000 hours the last eight years, I can count on
three or four fingers the times I ever topped off the tanks. Once was to
calibrate the true "Useable Fuel". The other times were to get heavy when I
expected some stiff turbulence.

I have a six place, but IIRC, I filled FIVE seats twice.
