John,

No. D-Jet's engine is buried in the lower aft fuselage.
Global Hawk and C-Jet engine are atop the fuselage between av-tail.


I see what you mean. The cabin shape reminds me of the D-Jet, as does
the general concept.

Probably to counteract the tail-heavy configuration. Not that pitching the
nose _up_ is desirable in any aircraft's configuration... can you name
some that do this?

The jet exhaust exits parallel to the airframe centerline.

Has anyone else noticed that of all the other jets mentioned in the press
stories, the proposed Piper is not mentioned?
