We're supposed to head to Wisconsin on the 26th -- but the weather is
looking fairly ugly, with yet another low-pressure center zipping
through the Midwest. Might have to fly the Subaru IFR at 0' AGL...

Where are your chestnuts roasting this year?

:-)

In the family room!

Yeah, well. I just shoveled out the hangar, after spending all
yesterday shoveling the house and hotel. I'm gonna have
Schwarzenegger shoulders if this keeps up all winter.

I am SO ready for Daytona Beach. Need someone to help load the
trailer?

Winds were 20G45 on Christmas Eve.. all through the night.. made a rough
ride for Santa.. but from looking under the tree this morning.. it looks
like he got through.

Winds are still 20G27 with wind advisories for possible gusts to 50..
Cold front came through the desert southwest last night... the sad news is..
it's headed your way..

Our Christmas eve destination was Bisbee, Arizona. The nice folks at the
FBO gave us the keys to a courtesy car and we drove a few miles into the old
mining town. We lunched at the Copper Queen Hotel with pictures of Wyatt
Earp and other past Arizona notables looking over our shoulders. After
lunch we walked the narrow streets for a bit of exercise before returning to
the airport and heading back to Marana NW Regional airport near Tucson.

It was a beautifully sunny with temps in the 60's. Days like this convince
Southern Arizonans put up with the hot summers!

Merry Christmas!
