The FAA extended the termination date of Exemption No.4988, as amended, to October 30, 2008. I can fax you a copy, send your number. Mario CM "DRN" wrote in message ... Somebody must know this; I couldn't find it in the FARs. ASA web site has an exemption document expired 1990. Couldn't find anything on SSA web site. There was an NPRM for a permanent glider exemption, but I couldn't find out what happened... So, what is the current story regarding data plates for gliders ? Is there a current exemption letter we're supposed to carry about the skies ? My exemption letter copy expired in 2004... Thanks in advance, Best Regards, Dave "YO electric"
