Only the Caribous had them. When I used the Herc, we had a plush toilet up
the back ;-)


The Hercs I flew (A & E Models) certainly had a "****-o-phone" down
the back. People were discouraged from using the "thunder-box"
nearby ("Plush" or "Flush" it wasn't) under pain of emptying it on
arrival.

That seems to be my recollection too. My last ride on a Herc was in
'77 or '78, I don't recall what model it was (nor even the colour) - but
from the era, it was probably an 'A'.

We were told horror stories that the ground crew could turn the outside vent
tube around, so the funnel blows instead of sucking (it's gotta suck).


The toilet facilitiy on the Hueys is totally different, from what I could
tell of my ride; the objective was for the passengers to pee in their pants.
