Bingo. I have inadvertently "block sendered" my editor at ASA, but that

was
mail, not news. Thanks for the lead.

Problem here is I usually see replies to my posts a day or two before
I see my post. Some times they show up instantly and other times it
takes a day or two.

Damn...you should talk to your ISP. My posts typically show up within 2-5
seconds.

Does anyone know their typically "turn around" time?

Replied as fast as I can click!!

Nearly 3 minutes later and ... nothing...

Both of mine turned up here at 6:30 so it took 20 minutes for me to be
able to see them.

Have no idea why. My ISP subscribes to a news server rather than
having their own. Some times the posts are as yours, almost
instantneous and other times it takes hours. I can understand why
posts are often out of order, but I haven't figured out why the
different posting delays.

I can beat that! Sometimes I see my post 2 hours before I posted it! BFG

Dejavu? Or was that "Double Vision"...are we talking about the same
thing?

Actually more of us need to be able to do that. It sure would cut down
on the spelling errors.

Unfortunately there are those of us that no amount of preparation and
spell checking are going to help. Even my spell checker changes to
the wrong words on occasion.
