IIRC Klyde Morris was stuck in Denver for four days and was forced to live
aboard a Hawker, surviving only on crackers and water. By the time they got
out of there the other pilot was threatening to eat him. :-)

The last time this happened Dave Barry suggested that if we ever catch Osama
bin Laden (or his Gungan deputy, Jar-Jar Binks Laden "All Yousa People Gonna
Die!" -- but I digress) he knew exactly what to do with them: put them on one
of these flights from Hell with a 2-year old in the seat behind them and a
colicky baby in front. The 2-year old will kick the seat back, of course.
