I repeat:

James Campbell was not on board Stephen Hawking's zero-g flight.

According to NASA he was.

That's the first photo credit I've seen but a photo credit none the less. So
unless Tim can prove something we don't know about I have to say zoom was there.

Still not a photo quality pic.

But I don't see anything but normal JPG compression noise.

Looks real enough for a low ews pic.

Amazing we now have confirmation that there is one truthful item on
zoom's resume. I'm sure he will beat that banner for years in an
attempt to add credence to the rest of his fantasy.

Yes, that's the one I am referring to as being too small with compression artifact galore to make an qualitative assessment of the claim it's a doctored image.

Strange, it could be that Tim is correct and Jim Campbell was not
himself on board the flight but could still have rights to the
photos. Even the wording of the credits on the posted NASA site is
not conclusive other that they obtained the photo from ANN. It is
entirely possible that someone else took the photos for ANN using
their equipment. Unless someone can come up with a list of those
onboard, I will remain a skeptic.

I have asked NASA for SOB on that flight. Their info sheet on Internet
says 15 or so days to answer a query via DC. Johnson don't have any
data here in Houston.

Anyone around Kenedy where Vomet Commet flies from that could get the
SOB on that flight from the source?

I flew Cessna's new Citation Mustang... I checked a buddy out in his
new Mooney... I traveled a good deal on America's airliners (NOT UAL)
to get to and fro... and I got to do a little bit of soaring in a
sturdy old Grob Twin II Acro sailplane. I loved and valued all the
ways in which I aviated... equally and for unique/important reasons. I
have never found any aspect of aviation to be any thing but
synergistic with the rest. There is equal value in all of aviation and
we should stand together, united, against all threats

I suspect this could be a lie. Does anyone really think that kook was
up with Hawking in that 727? I read the story in the news, and saw no
one in the pictures with Hawking that looked like Cambell.

Wasn't the Hawking flight a private venture that does not involve the
Vomit Comet?
