That's what I was wondering. What exactly was it supposed to look like if it had gone "right"? Assuming that the plane had been centered, the nose gear would have come crashing through the windshield. Followed by the prop. Hard to imagine a good outcome here, even in the best of circumstances. I agree that the airplane was very resilient, but would order a complete inspection of the airframe, a new engine and prop and a license revocation for the pilot.
