How dare you post something about an airplane you can't get inside and fly!
Shame, Shame, Shame. :-) Actually, I want to know how they keep that tool cart in place with 8 engines running. IIRC, those AMT engines produce something like 35-70 lb of thrust each! -- Bob (Chief Pilot, White Knuckle Airways) I don't have to like Bush and Cheney (Or Kerry, for that matter) to love America "HECTOP" wrote in message .. . You know you're into the edges when your "scale model" plane is heavier than some legal *piloted* flying machines. (Some guy built a C-130 on about the same scale, which would do LAPES or paradrops...) Very nice. My only question is... will it drop anything? If you tell me their next project is a scale MOAB, I'm going to be scared. MOAB's too big for a BUFF's bomb bay, isn't it? I suspect so, however, one can be slung under the wing pylon. |

It looks like they were removed from the server. Go out to the engine manufacturers website, as they also have the videos: www.wren-turbines.com. They are in the Latest News section. I'm not sure about W&B, but the bomb bays of the BUFF will easily fit 4 MOAB's. Remember, BUFF was designed in the early 50's to accommodate the early H-bombs. And they were HUGH. 2. MOAB is designed for pallet extraction. Cannot be hung on bomb racks. |
