Mary and I are (God willin' and the crik don't rise) headed that way
for the first time since '04. We'll be working the booth with our
friends in the "Flying Colors Glass" booth (in the SNF equivalent of
the North 40) promoting their windows and our hotel (where several of
their windows occupy a position of honor).

We're hopeful for a smooth arrival. I don't want to circle that
danged Lake Parker even one more time!

:-)

Anyone else heading to Lakeland?

Um...no. To many limits on the time/money thing to make more than one
trek from the left coast. Hope you guys have a good time
though...looking forward to the pirep.

I hear ya on that time/money thing. We're in the middle of a major
remodel of the first floor (the lobby) that will come to a complete
halt while we're in Lakeland, and we really haven't recovered from
last month's flight to the east coast, financially.

However, when you've got the opportunity to go to SNF, thanks to
someone whose name sounds a lot like "Montblack", you take it and
run!

What? Did Paul win the lotto and now he's buying avgas...um, I mean,
mogas? Hey Paul, 350 gallons of 100ll please. That should get me
to/from S&F. Hmmm, there is that small matter of $$$ for engine
reserves & maintenance...ah, I'm sure you could cover that as well. :-)

Nope, but in a moment (period? era?) of insanity, our Mr. Montblack
*volunteered* to keep an eye on our kids for us so that we could
attend SNF! He'll be staying in Iowa City for "the duration", and I
expect there will be some very interesting posts emanating from this
PC while we're gone.

Of course, as Jim Burns has already pointed out, the "Uncle Buck"
comparisons are simply too many to tally. Joe is already looking
forward to a whole new way of life...

Hey, Montblack, what do you have in mind for Inn renovations while Jay
and Mary are away? If you can get a few folks to show up, you ought to
be able to renovate at least 4 suites! :-)

Aren't the kids 14 or so, the boy even older? Can't they survive a couple
of days without their parents?

Yep, a new level of insanity has hit the Honeck household...

Hmmm, hired MontSitterBlack, eh? That's...um...interesting Jay. I can
just see Joe and a bunch of his friends duct taping MontBlack to the
wall and then having a grand time until you get back :-)

I can get you the first 50 gallons. That's what I figure will need to be
off-loaded from Atlas, before I stow away.

Montblack-eye
This movie was on today ...along with "The Masters on CBS"
http://www.digitallyobsessed.com/sho...w.php3?ID=3112

"On The Good Ship Lollypop" is actually sung in the isle of a (pre) 1934
airplane. Later, Shirley stows away in the baggage compartment of a
different plane.
