In July, it's a blast furnace.
I repeat....air conditioning (I grew up in Phoenix) Well, heck, if you're gonna stay inside all the time, the living is easy pretty much anywhere nowadays... That's T-shirt weather in Minnesota! "Honey, where's my Rollerblades?" Unfortunately, the Ice Sculptures for The St. Paul Winter Carnival are melting. :-( Montblack Speaking of indoors - Camp Snoopy is no more. MOA could not come to license agreement with ...Snoopy. All Peanuts characters are gone. Don't know what the new name will be. It's now call "The Park at Mall of America." Wonder what the consulting fee was for that gem? :-) |

It's not a well known fact, but if the dorms are full, there are sleeping
bags and air mattresses in the TV/rec room on every floor of every dorm. As yet, the campus cops haven't rousted anybody out that I know of. Jim "Montblack" wrote in message ... ("Jim Burns" wrote) I've never met another man with so much luck when it comes to winning houseing... first the Alexis Park Inn Name that Suite Sweepstakes and now the Jim and Gail Great OSH Dorm Reservation Transfer! What in the world am I going to tell my kids when they ask why Paul isn't staying at our house one night this year??!! They'll be heartbroken. ![]() Hey, a sleep over in the dorms! I've got a couple of extra 20" high airmattresses. g All we'll need are some 4x4's, lag bolts, a cordless drill, and, oh yeah - popcorn! Montblack This year bring the kids, they'd have a blast. Plus, it's a hell of a lot cheaper than paying babysitters! :-) |
