No, the weren't, but the Federation had a monetary unit called the "Credit". The implication was it was used in "foreign trade" and obtaining things not produced by a replicator. That was a big hole in the whole money isn't an issue in the Federation thing. There sure were a lot of Star Fleet officers betting at Quark's bar and then there was the weekly poker game on the Enterprise. |

As I recall it Win95 introduced us to the Blue Screen of Death again and again and again. But the modern machines are pretty bullet proof - IF- the operator knows what they're doing and here we're talking about mixed up |
