Fly into an area with that many blithering idiots? I think not. Maybe
someday. More important things to do around here at that time.

Fly into ANE, then hitch a ride in the airplane of minivans.

That way you only have to deal with one blithering idiot - for 6 hours!!!

Who I had to supply with beer? I look at Oshkosh and yawn. I'd rather
be flying in the mountains. Hell, I just bought a boat. I'd rather
take that out. I grew up in the Twin Cities. No way I want to walk
around OSH all day and then sleep in a tent. Now if somebody had an RV,
maybe. Plans are firming up for ANE, looks like we'll be there about
July 8th for a week. I'll let you know for sure later.

Did somebody say July 8th? g

http://www.b17.org/tour/
Aluminum Overcast Tour dates: (ANE) July 6-8

I bought a pack of 10 Raffle Tickets. I'd fill your name in on one of them
if I knew you were going to be in town to enjoy your winnings.

Chapter volunteers (4? 5? 6?) get their names drawn for a ride to the next
stop - St Cloud, MN (which is 43 nm from our airport).

The Denver to Waukesha flight would be a fun ride.
Waukesha is in (SE) Wis., between Madison and Milwaukee.

Last time, the B-17 flew to Duluth from ANE. That's 110 nm. That gang of
lucky volunteers rented a van in Duluth and drove home.

What the heck. If you're here, you're here ....you're #395. Good luck!
"My" contact info is on all of my people's tickets.

The B17 was here last year on its tour. My youngest worked at the booth
selling their stuff so got to ride it from here to Denver. I flew down
and picked him up. He said it was cool but after a half hour it was
time to get out.

Yep I do but not nearly as much as before. I got my handicap down to 5
in the mid 90's but then realized what's the point of this? So I golf
occasionally now. This weekend we're taking the 5th wheel and the boat
to Helena. There's a time and place for everything.

After spending two sweating days guarding and selling ride tickets, I was
one of the winners to take the ride to the next stop. What a thrill!

How long after you quit does it take for your insides to look better?

Varies according to how much smoke done-gone-in and for how long.
One thing is for certain, things start improving immediately. Just some

Well, I quit smoking 21 years ago. Best think I ever did, and I hope
my lungs are nice and pink again.

But all these stupid laws making it a crime for people to smoke --
OUTSIDE, now, for chrissakes -- is just sickening.

I was visiting a friend at the hospital last week, and noticed that
they have now banned smoking OUTSIDE the hospital. All these poor
people, some in wheel chairs, must now push themselves OFF HOSPITAL
PROPERTY to have a smoke!

Un-friggin'-believeable. How did this kind of society develop when we
weren't looking? Big Brother really is now EVERYWHERE.

I have been a RN for 16 yrs and I do smoke. Few times in 12 to14 hr
shift I go outside and have one. I am a hard worker, loyal, and have
seldom called in. I have a problem when I have to pay, with my tax
dollars, for pt's healthcare that have completely milked the
healthcare system,,,,,,,inc me as a RN!!! The people that are on
welfare / passport are the pt's that run me ragged....."They think
they have some entitlelment!!!"....,to order me around!!! I am tax
paying US citizen....NOW!!! I have the illegals also mutching off of
me, and they too, run me around as if I am a waitress, Even if I
explain I had someone very sick and I had to help them first, they get
attitude about how their soda took too long to get to them. I have
pt's that are on dialaysis that leave the the hospital, get high, and
return.....and DEMAND!!! their pain meds.......Dr's and all know
it..........IT IS SICKENING....Now they tell me I can't go outside,
without walking the distance of a football field, to have a
cigarette!!!!!!! MY GOD!!!! It is not illegal!!! I am a adult, and I
do know it is not at all healthly.....I would even pay 10 times the
healthcare premiums that non smokers pay......I realise it causes
copd........BUT I am getting to the point I am getting VERY
bitter........Probably nicotine w/d:-) Help!!! This nurse about ready
to give up the heatlhcare system all together!!! Are there any other
nurses out that agree?
