Default Navigational Question of the day.

Brion got most of the correct answers to the last NQD, so now a new one:

While heading for my selected turn point, I center the turn arrows on my
Cambridge GPS and notice that my bearing and track are the same, but my
sailplane is pointed a good 15 degrees left of the turn point. Why?

You're crabbing to accommodate a crosswind from the left. C'mon JJ, you're
yanking our chains!

Cambridge GPS's are notorious for their reliability, not unreliability. I have
owned 3 of them for many years now and they are 100% reliable.

I was quite pleased with myself when I figured it out. The course, heading,
track question seemed too tough, so I took a little off. Now the new bright
boys must come up with a new Question for the day.
