Why didn't Galland customize his aircraft for his needs?
Looking at JV-44's craft the main commanders of this flight had
aircraft with either six 30mm guns (Bär) or massive cannon (Herget) but why didn't Galland do anything to his ME-262 like the others? I'm suprised he didn't get himself a upgunned 262 like Bär did or was he the kind of pilot who didn't believe in fancy weaponary?
