Has anyone rented a glider to fly solo at Dillingham Field in 2009?

Hello Dennis.
Which company did you rent from?
I have flown at Dillingham three times over the last five years. The
only place that would rent to me was (I can't remember the name but I
think it was Soar Hawaii) the business on the left end of the building
at the parking lot. It is no longer listed on the SSA website and it
does not advertise in Soaring any longer.
The two sites currently listed on the SSA website, Acroflight
International and Honolulu Soaring don't have any information on
renting and flying solo. In fact, Honolulu Soaring agreed to rent to
me over the phone last year but refused once I told them I was going
to give my family members rides.

Thank you, Paul and Dennis.
I called Steve and he was very helpful. A plane is reserved and fun
is assured.

go to http://www.honolulusoaring.com/pdf/P...20-Aug-147.pdf for
rental and tow price sheet for 2-33A ($47/hr), or 2-32 or ASK-21
($70). See also www.honolulusoaring.com/price.html for their rides
prices. The PDF link is at the bottom of this page.

Honolulu soaring is who rescinded their offer of renting me a plane
when I informed them that I would be giving rides to family members.
