Syllabus forms

There used to be a form on the old BGA site, that covered the syllabus
and had several boxes to sign-off,

"demo" , "Attemp" and "Satisf" for new pupils to work their
waythrough.

Have these gone, or just not to be found on the new BGA site ?

While not the BGA, I'd like to point out that Skyline Soaring Club, in Front Royal Virginia has one of the best training Syllabuses in the US (IMHO). It includes the boxes for sign-off that you describe, and is tailored for the FAA requirements for 61.87 and the PPL PTS.

The club has everything electronically recorded in a database. The instructors get reminders of flights that have recently been uploaded to the database, and fill in a small essay, along with a mark-up of a score for all the areas covered in each flight.

You can use the Syllabus at the link below as an old-school paper format, too.

The document is available for any club, instructor, or commercial operation to copy from as freely as they want, so long as there is attribution for the source.

If your club doesn't use a syllabus, I would like to encourage you to at least look at the link above.
