I'd rung him on the anniversary
of the war's end in 1995, and he passed that story note on to me orally. He
also shot down a German aircraft very close to this time.


I'd love to hear more - who was he, if you don't mind my asking? Still
working on my YAMB (yet another Mosquito book) and nightfightering is the main
crux of my research.
