Jim,

The bay are fog cycle is going to dictate an LHM departure Friday
morning. Hehe, you won't be an hour ahead of me out of the blocks after
all! :-) We'll probably be wheels-up by 7:00 or so. Will monitor
122.75 and periodically broadcast to see where you're at. Check your
six! (oh, wait, that's as hard for you as me w/o a rear window) :-)

See ya at TVL...or...RWL...or...TOR...or...wherever the weather dictates.

My intent is wheels up by 0530 or 0600 latest. 122.75 and you will catch me
somewhere around Salt Lake.

BTW, for the whole trip, call sign is BlueOnBlue182. I'll call you Narrow
Arrow unless you've got another preference.

Sounds like an old movie soundtrack...

"BlueOnBlue182 this Narrow Arrow calling, over?
"Narrow Arrow, this is BlueOnBlue182, say your position, over?

(you get the idea)

I'll be listening for just about "Arrow"-anything, including the tail
number. Just don't call me late for Jay's shindig or for OSH in
general. :-) Talk at ya tomorrow sometime, probably over NV or UT.

The beer is cold, the pool is warm, and I'm back from motorcycle camping --
let the show begin!

Just call Unicom on 122.8 when you're ten miles out, have them give me a
jingle, and I'll come fetch you guys!

See ya Saturday...

Pilot and Co-pilot of Casino Express 737 (Red Lion on the tail) called you
and Jack at 0750 (Friday) from the ramp at Elko, NV. Then again a few times
en route to Salt Lake for fuel - 122.75 ....Nothing. My scanner got left at
home. Doh!

We were wheels up Elko at 0800 this morning (Friday).

They were calling Blue and White 182 (oops) and "Jack's Arrow N210... " One
time they just started chatting, you guys flying to OSH up there? Jim? Jack?

We hopped over to Salt Lake (250 miles) for fuel, then (eventually) flew
"direct" to Minneapolis 2 hours 10 minutes. Got in at 3:30 pm local time -
two hours behind schedule. We waited on the ramp at Salt Lake *after* we
fueled, then waited (again) on the ramp in Minneapolis - visit from the
VEEP!!!

Oh, man, that sucks.

The only thing worse is waiting for the VEEP-cadet, as we did last summer
when John Edwards hit Des Moines...

Don't know what to tell you ... we were wheels up at 0630 and Jack caught up
with us a little bit east of Reno. We overflew Elko at about 0800 and heard
absolutely nothing -- and we WERE chatting on 122.75 all the way into
Rawlins/Torrington.
