Default Debt soars to a record

That's about six months income for one year for the average worker, not
a very large amount in the real world.

That's the good thing about having an extremely strong economy - we can
have a moderate debt load and not worry too much.

I think the administration will allow the US national debt to soar 9% (of GNP)
level because of political considerations.

Gee, could you vague that up for us?

Be patient, wait for a couple of days for the official announcement.
40 years ago Watts was burning, but gov't was spending billions somewhere
else, now we are going to spend not billions of dollars but hundreds,if not
thousands, of billions somewhere else.
Classical diversion policy.
