Sadly its just in a field along side the A1 near Newark on Trent.
Passed it many a time, really is a sad sight.

Aparently one of a very few F.2As surviving.

A sad sight indeed, but it may be too far gone to restore, however that
judgement cannot be made from just this photo. Any idea who is ultimately
responsible for it? Who owns it and if anyone is interested in taking it
somewhere for reclaimation?

This should show an overhead view. I had a glimpse of her last Saturday but
as is correct I was paying attention to the road ahead. Only because some
trucks and coaches blocked my view!
