2000km in Nevada
About one hour ago, Gordon Boettger landed his Kestrel 17 at Orovada,
Nevada near sunset after completing a declared 3 TP wave flight starting at Minden. The estimated distance is about 2056km over 14 hours. This was an unusually strong system late in the Sierra wave season. Cruise altitudes were up to 26K. More details as they come in. Congrats to Gordon! Kemp
