The worst air disaster in U.S. history occurred
when a DC-10 crashed at Chicago's O'Hare airport,
killing over 270 people.

(engine fell off after takeoff, loss of aileron
control)

Unfortunately, the worst Airbus disaster to date seems to be this one:

July 1988 An Iranian Airbus was shot down by the US Navy ship Vincennes
as it was flying across the Persian Gulf, killing 290 people with no
survivors.

You could certainly call that a disaster, especially with the subsequent
whitewash.

Ricardo doesn't have to explain honesty.

Thank you. Gosh, does it show, I ask myself?

Mr O'Hara is always one for an insular view, seasoned with large doses
of premeditated stupidity. He is living proof of the value of
contraception, a value, sadly, ignored by his parents.

I could have been really cruel and posted this response:

http://www.airdisaster.com/cgi-bin/a...aft=Boeing+747

....as I did to one of his earlier mutterings about Airbus, but I didn't
have the heart.

I tend to look on it as missionary work by trying to balance insidious
propaganda, outright lies and downright stupidity.

;-)

Have a good day!
