hi, does anyone have more detailed information about the JetCat P-180
miniature gas turbine engine? were trying to design a stealth UAV, and
we cant find some critical information-the jetcat websites not very
specific, and we need to know stuff like mass flow rate and exhaust
velocity. also any information about noise levels would be great
cheers

Try these folks . . . http://www.dhs.gov/index.shtm

I'm sure they'd love to assist.

Just google it. There is a website for JetCat. The largest engine
makes 47 or so lbs of thrust. Two of them would be perfect for a self
launching glider. 4 of them slung under the wings of a Blanik like a
707 would be way cool.

IF they had a decent hours before overhaul, which is a big if, indeed, you would
be only a novelty. Those small engines go through fuel so fast, that the plane
would need to be as big as a 707 to carry enough fuel to really go somewhere!!!

Well, not really, but you get the idea.
