Can we all do a group hug, or something?

Perry was mediocre.
15m Nats got rained out.
Bermudah high had one good day, but did get a contest in with some rather
weak weather.
And finally, Caesar Creek had their typical rain-out to keep things going.

What have we done to deserve this?

I'm selling my glider and buying a bass boat! Anybody want to trade me one
of them sparkley-bass boats for an LS-10? I want a red one.

J4

A red one it is! Where do you want to make the swap?

Y'all are just flying in the wrong contests. We Club Classer's got in
four out of five days at Cordele, plus some of us flew on the non-
official practice day on Saturday. True, the days had some "iffy"
weather that made tasking a head-scratcher, but I'm pretty sure all
the Club Class contestants had a ball at Cordele! I know I did!
Mostly due to the way the contest was run. Lots of good people doing
great things and they made it all look oh so easy.

While Juliet Four might be ready to trade for a red bass boat, I'm not
giving up on soaring just yet. Heck, we might actually have a soaring
day this coming weekend! Hey J4, if you can't find a bass boat, one
of my coworkers just got a new 22' (+/-) "Stingray" with 5.7 liter,
300 h.p. Chevy engine/Volvo marine conversion, I/O drive, and tandem
axle trailer. The boat is red. He'll probably take you for a ride.

Yeah, but the Seniors was honkin good !
And I flew the longest flight ever in New England (on one of the two
days I
was able to fly at home):

Of course, I just drove 49 hours, 3200 miles, in 4 days to arrive in
Montague
for... rain.

Nope, I am NOT trading my Antares in just yet !
(Well, actually, its for sale to make room for the new Antares, too
many gliders)

Hey John,

Can we make the Swap at Ephrata. I could really use the LS-10 for the
18M Nats there. I suspect they would notice the extra span of the
Nimbus 3D. I've attached a photo of the nice series of Lakes there
(pay no attention to those clouds, they are just there to shade the
boaters) You'll really enjoy the fishing!

What am I supposed to say? I left Caesar Creek yesterday and now the
same front is hovering right here over the SC upstate! Anyhow, I found
a red bass booat for you.

.....all you whiners live on the wrong side of the Rockies. Soaring's
been great in New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and Southern California, to
mention a few.
