The glidingweb.org website says it has "expired" and the domain name is available. Anyone know if igcwebview has moved to a new website? Or is it just no longer available?

Try www.soaringlab.eu Thanks, have looked at the program but for some of our less computer literate members it may be off-putting. The IGC Viewer and companion task setting program was very useable even if these members were given encouragement of the flick around the ear to learn it! Agreed - the tools at http://glidingweb.org are/were just the right combination of power and usability. There's an older version of the IGC viewer available he https://alistairmgreen.github.io/jsigc/ It doesn't show airspace or turn-points, but is otherwise quite usable. It's hosted in such a way that it should continue working for some time. The source code for the http://glidingweb.org tools (IGC viewer an task planner) seem to be available he https://github.com/GlidingWeb The authors are Alistair Malcolm Green and Richard Brisbourne. Does anyone have contact details for these gents? I'd be happy to help re- host these excellent tools on another web site. Thanks (and Happy Christmas!), Andrew Watson |
