Default Iinstalling Throttle.Help wanted

I have made up a throttle to use with my CH Force Feedback flightstick but
am unsure how to connect it. I have a ribbon cable extension lead from the
stick to the gameport and understamd that pins 9 and 13 are for use with a
throttle. Should I connect the throttle leads directly to the cables 9 and
13 or break the cables and connect only to the leads going to the Gameport.
Any help appreciated

Fred
