Can anyone please pass on some tips. I would like to take my ship to this

Thanks, do you have any preference amongst these spots?

Is Slovenia a good destination? How about Northern Italy/ Tirol?

Yes I do, but my preference (Timmersdorf) is based on where I live so it
wouldnŽt be of much use for someone else.

In Slovenia Lesce - Bled is the most popular place to go, although I prefer
Noetsch in Austria. In July or August IŽd rather choose an airfield on the
north side of the alps, say Lanzen - Turnau, Timmersdorf, Trieben,
Niederoeblarn, Zell / See, ....

Some more info is here

Microclimate. The atmosphere over the southern Alps tends to stabilize
very quickly at this time of the year. The classic book "Segeln über den
Alpen" by Jochen von Kalckreuth gives a good overview of the different
regions of the Alps and their respective microclimate.
