Do you have some specifications and some more information regarding the
engine? My Suomi isn't as good as I'd like it to be ;-)

The name PIK comes from Finnish words "Polyteknikkojen Ilmailukerho ry" = An
Aviation club of the Polytechnicians (or something like that in English).
The club has been established in the year 1931 I believe. The number 27 is
the aircraft design number 27. The club seems to have a site (in Finnish).

Very Nice! Keep up that good Scandinavian design tradition!

http://www.tmrcsailplanes.com/schweizer-1-30-model.html

Anyone know what happened to this fifty year old attempt by the
Schweizer Brothers to produce a dedicated towplane, the SA 1-30. Looks
like not enough powder, but gliders, like most of us were much lighter
back then.

By the way, check out some of the other models at this site. Maybe Mr.
Martin could be talked into make an appearance with some of his
beautiful models in Memphis this coming spring.

Gunnar in snowy Denver, Merry Christmas!

Where did she hide those cookies?

All weather airport, every airport is all weather, you just can't fly
in "all" the weather.
