Default Aviation themed restaurant?

My rapidly crumbling memory tells me that someone on this group posted
a link to an aviation-themed restaurant recently. The place came
complete with hangars and WWII era aircraft on the runway outside.

If anyone knows what I'm talking about -- a rare occurence in itself --
would you please repost the link? I'd appreciate it.

I've been top some WWI era 94th Aero Squadron restaurants,
but don't know about the WWII theme.

You might be thinking of the 356th Fighter Group Restaurant at Canton
Akron Airport in Ohio. I was there earlier in the year and had a great
meal. The restaurant backs up to the airport, but you need to get a
crew car to get there since it is on the opposite side of the airport
from the FBOs.

This is a good one, but I don't think it was discussed here recently.

Aircraft landing on KLAX 25L are just a few hundred yards over your head.

Look at location N33-56-09, W118-22-40 on google earth and see how many
aircraft types you can identify parked outside.

You'll have to wait a little bit for this one to be built. They hope to
start construction this summer.

It'll be owned (and run) by the guy who manages Golden Wings Museum - he
brings the museum's Tri Motors over to OSH each year. Last year they ALMOST
flew 5 over ...except #5 (the low wing 1935 Stinson) broke a landing gear
while taxiing, two weeks before OSH.

Dammit!

Damaged: Prop, engine, wing, oh yeah ...and the ssstoopid landing gear.

The 94th Aero Squadron restaurant at College Park, reputed to be the
first airport (the Wrights trained the military there) has some WWI
warbirds or mock-ups thereof of the lawn if I remember correctly. Need
a PIN to fly there because it is inside the Washington, DC FRZ.
