Yes. There's not much to monitor though.

Me, too!

Hey alla yall!

You know, I wonder...

If the lack of traffic here is due to the net, or due to a lack of
home-built activity.

I used to know a couple dozen guys actively building aircraft.

Now I only know one.

There are a lot of projects/completions here at Spruce Creek.

We have a TON of RVs of various flavors, about 6 SX-300s, Lancairs, Cubs
and Cub clones, a Questair, several Glastars -- to name a few.

Among the RVs, there are at least three flights of four or more that fly
together in good formations, plus the "Red Flight" of SX-300s, plus
Lancair and Questair.

Our EAA meetings (tonight is one) usually attract 75 or more people and
have interesting programs.

I'm building an RV-9A.
But it wouldn't even occur to me to post here...I use VAF.

Is there much activity there? And what is VAF? I'd like to check it
out.

Hi Harry,

I've tried www.homebuitairplaness.com.
Not much real work happening there.
Lots of fancified fools with grand ideas tho.
(Not a single RV builder, so you know nothings happening)

And I'm really not pleased with the web forum format.
Not compared to the Usenet format anyway.
Things drift off the front page into obscurity.

I'm really only an interested onlooker. My BIL in Kamloops BC built
an ultra-light (by Canadian standard" named it "buffy" (for expired
pet). AFAIK he only flew it a few times and sold it. I go baback in
RAH to the days of Badwater Bill. Lots of interesting stuff happening
back then.
