Default Elizabeth flies again, almost

Well after a new fuel Pump, Oil filter adapter replaced with a remote
filter mount, and a new Attitude indicator. She is finally back in one
piece. No leaks, no drips, no errors. Jut one problem. Tammy is on the
way and it is IMC for a hundred miles. I am not going to fly IMC after
breaking into two major engine systems and the "primary" IFR instrument.
It looks like Sunday is my best bet but I am off the the National Mall
to look at the Solar Decathlon.

Guess the shake down will be going to work Monday Morning.

Michelle,
Start a new thread and tell us about the Solar Decathlon.
I haven't heard about it.

Congratulations! I know you've been working on this for a long time.

So, once this is completely flight tested, what's next on the agenda
for Elizabeth? grin

DME. Believe it or not. My GPS is too old to have ILS stations in the
software. Getting a DME (used) would be a lot cheaper than upgrading to
a GNS 430,480, or 530.
